Today Juliellen Simpson-Vos, GOTR Executive Director, joined the Pink Pacers, along with  their sponsors and supporters, on a tour of the UNC Pediatric Cancer Center to learn more about the services they provide and their needs in supporting kids and families receiving cancer services.

This year GOTR and The Pink Pacers will be working together on several community outreach activities, meant to raise awareness for supportive care needed to enhance and enrich the lives of the children and families served at the Pediatric Cancer Center, as part of our Girls Give Back Program.  

As part of the GOTR curriculum, girls are asked to coordiante a community service project to help develop leadership skills and give back to those in need as a way to demonstrate gratitude and compassion, two of our GOTR core values.  It is our hope that many of our teams' project may provide support and resources for the UNC Pediatric Cancer Center.
