Girls on the Run of the Triangle encourages all our coaches, parents and supporters to attend a public screening of Miss Representation, sponsored by the UNC Women's Center and Ackland Museum, next Thursday, Feb. 2nd at 7pm at the Varsity in Chapel Hill.

Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, this film exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. The film challenges the media's limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls.  Watch the trailer at the link below for a glimpse of the film.
