Committee: |
| The
Fundraising committee is charged with creatively brainstorming and implementing
new initiatives throughout the year for Girls on the Run of the Triangle. The
Fundraisers and/or events theme should be aligned with the Girls on the Run mission
and the integrity of the program. Fundraising
Goals: -
To raise $20,000 in 2008

To plan and staff 2-3 fundraising events/projects for 2008
-
To help get the word out about Girls on the Run of the TriangleŽ
Commitment:
-
Monthly Fundraising Committee Meetings (1 ˝ hours)
-
Attend and help staff new Fundraising initiatives
-
Additional work may be needed outside of meetings
Requirements:
- Well organized
and detail-oriented
-
Interested in planning and organizing fundraising events
-
Attendance at monthly meetings and events
-
Capability to solicit donations, market Girls on the Run and personally network
-
Ability to follow-through on short-term and long term projects
-
Innovative thinker!! Marketing and Sales skills a plus

Support Committee: |

The Program Support committee creates and organizes all coaches and lesson plan
materials as well as race day activities. This committee works hand in hand with
the GOTR Staff to ensure a successful Girls on the Run season! For more information

to learn more about the Girls on the Run lesson plans and cirriculum
